AI automation for small business

You could take on more work.
If the admin wasn't in the way.

I build AI that handles the stuff you shouldn't be doing — the chasing, the scheduling, the follow-ups, the reminders. So you can say yes to more jobs instead of drowning in paperwork.

You're turning work away.
Not because you can't do it — because you can't get to it.

You're good at what you do. Really good. That's why people keep calling. But you're on a job, so you miss the call. By the time you ring back, they've gone with someone else.

And then the evenings. You finally sit down and there's a stack of it waiting — quotes to follow up on, invoices to chase, messages to reply to, bookings to sort out. You do it because nobody else will.

Here's the thing that gets me about this: the big companies solved this problem years ago. They have systems that reply instantly, follow up automatically, chase documents without anyone lifting a finger.

It's just never been available at a price that makes sense for a business your size. That's what I'm changing.

What I actually do

I learn how your business works. Then I build AI that handles the admin.

The technology is the easy bit. The hard part — the part most tech people skip — is properly understanding your business. That's where I start. Always.

TRADESPEOPLE

You've sent 15 quotes this month.

You're great at quoting. Terrible at following up. Your AI follows up on every quote within 2 hours. When someone says yes, it books them into your calendar and sends a confirmation. You just turn up and do the work.

ACCOUNTANTS

It's January. You need documents.

Every year, the same thing. Chasing 80 clients for receipts and bank statements. Your AI chases them for you — politely, persistently, on a schedule. When documents arrive, it files them where they need to go.

CLEANING COMPANIES

Bookings are chaos.

Enquiries come in by text, email, Instagram, phone. Half slip through. Your AI catches every one, replies instantly, books them in, sends confirmations. When someone cancels, it offers the slot to your waiting list.

LANDLORDS

Your phone never stops.

Tenant texts about a leaky tap at 11pm. Your AI handles first contact, works out what's urgent, contacts contractors directly. You get a summary in the morning, not a panic at midnight.

If you're spending hours on something repetitive every week, I want to hear about it. Seriously — it's the bit I find exciting.

How it works

We have a chat. I build it. It runs.

1

We have a chat.

You tell me about your business. What's taking up your time, what's falling through the cracks, what you'd fix if you had a spare person. I'll ask questions — probably a lot of them. This bit's free, takes about 30 minutes, and I won't try to sell you anything. If I don't think I can help, I'll say so.

2

I go and build it.

I take what I've learned and build your automation. Not a prototype, not a mockup — a working system. You'll see it within a fortnight. We'll test it together, and if something's not right, I'll adjust it until it is.

3

It runs. You don't think about it.

The AI handles the admin. You get on with the work that actually earns you money. I keep everything monitored, maintained, and updated. When your business changes — and it will — the system changes with it.

Setup: typically £750

Keeping it running: £150/month

No hidden fees. No 12-month lock-in. 30 days' notice if you want to stop. Most clients tell me it pays for itself within the first month.

Who this is for

The business that's ready to grow
but stuck doing everything manually.

You've got the customers. You've got the skills. But you've hit a ceiling because there's only one of you — and half of that person is doing admin. Sound familiar?

You've missed a job this month because you couldn't reply fast enough

Your evenings are spent catching up on messages and paperwork

You've got a stack of quotes out there and no idea which are still live

You've tried apps and software before but it never stuck

You know there's a better way but you don't have time to find it

You don't need to understand AI. You don't need to be "tech-savvy." You just need to tell me where it hurts and I'll build something that fixes it.

About me

I've done this before. Just at a much bigger scale.

I'm Andrew. Before 10hoursback, I built AI-powered automation at OVO Energy — one of the UK's biggest energy companies. Big systems, millions of customers, the kind of automation that runs entire departments.

It was brilliant. And it made me realise something obvious: the businesses that need this most aren't the ones that can afford a 20-person tech team. It's the plumber who works until 9pm doing quotes. The accountant who spends all of January chasing documents. The cleaning company owner who answers booking enquiries at her kid's football match.

The technology that runs a company like OVO is the same technology that can answer your phone, follow up on your quotes, and sort your bookings. It just needs someone who knows how to make it work for a business your size.

That's what I do now. And honestly? I'm having a lot more fun.

Based in York. Happy to come to you for a chat.

Straight answers

You've got questions. Here are honest answers.

Do I need to know anything about AI?

Not a thing. If you can tell me how your working day goes, I've got everything I need. The whole point is that you never have to think about the technology.

Will my customers realise it's not me?

Most of what I build works behind the scenes. Your customers get faster replies, better follow-ups, and a more organised service. They just think you've got really good at admin.

What if my business is too niche or too unusual?

That's actually what I like. The more specific your business, the more specific I can make the automation. I've yet to meet a business where there's nothing worth automating.

What if I don't like it? Am I locked in?

No. 30 days' notice and you can walk away. I'd rather you stay because it's working than because you're stuck in a contract.

What happens when something goes wrong?

Two things. First, I build it so that when the AI hits something unexpected, it asks you rather than guessing — you're always the boss. Second, I monitor everything and fix issues before you notice them. That's what the monthly fee is for.

Is this the same as ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a tool you type questions into. What I build actually does things — sends emails, books appointments, chases invoices, updates your calendar. It's the difference between having a search engine and having an employee.

Is my data safe?

Yes. ICO registered, GDPR compliant, and I'll give you a clear data agreement before we start. I don't keep data I don't need. Your customer data stays your customer data.

Want to see what I could automate for you?

30 minutes. No jargon, no pitch. Just tell me what's eating your week and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.

Worst case, you've had a free chat about your business with someone who's genuinely interested in how it works. I've been told I ask good questions.
